Introduction

With the help of the Mid Cheshire Barn Owl Conservation Group, we have set up a voluntary Barn Owl Group for the North Cheshire Area, If you are interested in joining please fill in the Membership Form,

you could be an active member i.e. making and erecting boxes, or someone who is interested and concerned about Barn owls, you will be sent a quarterly news letter informing you of the groups activities.

The goals of the group would be to promote and record Barn Owls Which would include :-

• Visiting landowners.
• Finding suitable sites.
• Making Owl Boxes (internal and weather proof external boxes).
• Erecting boxes.
• Monitoring boxes.
• Field work which will include the recording of the owls.

We would like any sighting from you, as it will inform us of where to install new Barn Owl boxes so that we can encourage the young owls to breed in that area when they leave the nest site. Please inform us of any sightings that you see. (your sighting will be treated as confidential) Sightings Form.

All breeding reports will be treated in strict confidence.
